Thank you @mossy_oak_woods for your lovely post! 🍃🕊 ・・・ There is always so much to share!!!! Last night we went on a forest singing walk! I felt incredibly moved by it! We sang to our hearts, we sang to the trees and we sang to each other. In this photo we were throwing sounds to each other across the water! I feel there is something so powerful about singing in the forest. I would love people to come and sing in Mossy Oak Woods! From #natureasnurture ❤️ ・・・ A lovely day of workshops, each inviting us to connect with nature in a different way. Such a treat to be on the other side, bring held and guided in a Forest Bathing Walk. A surprising and moving experience of singing with forest led by the lovely Sanni of @sound_by_nature Laura #mossy_oak_woods invited us to connect to our creativity and create something with what lay around us. Much as I loved the process I became increasingly aware that what I was creating / curating on the tree stump was far less beautiful as a whole than each individual item. I fell in love yet again with the marvel and beauty of the natural world. Feeling deeply nourished as the day draws to a close.

Our voice is such a unique creation, an instrument like no other - we can hear it and feel it at the same time. And sometimes it happens that the hearing takes over. When we try to reach our voice through hearing there becomes a gap between sound production and sound and we easily start to judge ourselves based on how we think we sound, become our own critics. Yesterday we explored how singing from within, through the body with nature and with others, feels in the International Forest Therapy Days. A once in a lifetime forest sound walk with 30 or more people from 17 nations.
